Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Rwanda, “Bienvenue” our company representative shall meet and welcome you upon arrival. Transfer to your hotel for relaxation and dinner, if you have enough time, you can do a brief city tour through Kigali town. Dinner and overnight stay in the city

Day 2: Transfer to Ruhengeri
Ruhengeri is located in Northwestern region of Rwanda and most time the town is commonly called Musanze. This is the gateway to Volcanoes National park , the home for the gorillas in the mist and golden monkeys. The drive from Kigali town to Musanze takes approximately 2hrs meaning you can have your lunch in Musanze town or at your lodge, later in the day check out the community in a community walk.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking is the best highlight for a safari in Rwanda, Rwanda came on the world map after show casing the movie gorillas in the mist which dragged other people from around the world to visit this beautiful place. Only 30 visitors a day are allowed to trek the gorillas. Trekking takes approximately 4-5hrs with professional guides. If you come in the right time for the gorilla baby naming ceremony, Kwita Izina then you have nailed the whole trip fully adventurous. This ceremony happens every year. Apart from the gorillas, the forest is also shared by the golden monkeys, beautiful birds and lots of species of trees.

Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Nyungwe forest is one of the oldest forests on earth dating back before the ice age. The forest is one of the remaining montane forests in Africa offering home to the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, giant forest hogs and lots of birds. After today’s ride, you will probably have the evening at leisure with diner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking/ canopy walk
Today you can either be part of the chimpanzee trekking adventure or choose to do a canopy walk in Nyungwe forest. Have your delicious African breakfast and get ready for the adventure. Chimpanzee trekking in this forest is such an interesting adventure as you get chance to see the colobus monkeys. For those wishing to be part of the canopy walk, hold your spirit high because you are at close range with the top tree canopies. These activities make Nyungwe forest National Park a must go to while in Rwanda.

Day 6: Transfer to Kigali with city tour
Today you depart Nyungwe forest for Kigali city, what lovely time it was with nature! The drive is approximately 4hrs. After your breakfast, get ready to check out of your lodge and head for the capital city of Rwanda; do remember to make a stop at the Royal palace and lot more stop for photography. After lunch, check out the city; visit the national museum, the national craft market and posh refreshment corners of the city.

Day 7: Reserved for Departure
